Sabina Lange has been training national and EU officials and European affairs professionals on the work in and with the EU institutions for over 15 years. As Senior Lecturer in EU Governance at the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht (The Netherlands), she has been focusing on decision-making processes in the EU institutions and in particular on the work of the Council and the Commission’s delegated powers.
She has published articles, expert pieces and book chapters on various inter-institutional topics, in particular on the qualified majority voting in the area of Common Foreign and Security Policy, the role of the Presidency of the Council, the effect of the Trio Presidency, and the European Parliament and the Delegated acts.
Sabina is Associate Professor in International Relations at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Director of Think Europe (Evropa misli), a Ljubljana-based think tank, focusing on research and consultancy on the EU and Slovenia in the EU.
