John Harper Publishing, based in London, was founded in 1999 but continues the publication of a number of standard reference titles dating back to earlier years.

Our small and highly selective list is focused on two main areas:

Global Political Reference includes several books regarded as the standard works in their field, covering topics including political parties, revolutionary and dissident movements, border and territorial disputes, treaties and alliances and trade unions. All of these titles have appeared in multiple editions.

European Union, where we publish the leading series of books on the key institutions of the European Union, with each title being periodically updated.

Our efforts as publishers are supported by an outstanding worldwide team of specialist authors and contributors.
