Generational Thinking

Labelling people according to their birth years. Baby Boomers, born between 1946 and 1964, are competitive and loyal to their employer. Gen Xers, born between 1965 and 1977, are more likely to be skeptical and independent-minded. Gen Ys - also known as Millennials - were born in 1978 or later, and like teamwork, feedback and technology. Finally, there is Gen Z. Born after 1995, they grew up in a highly sophisticated media and computer environment and will be more Internet savvy and expert than their Gen Y ancestors. This theory is highly controversial.
