Formal Learning

Formal learning is intentional learning that is organised in terms of objectives (e.g. instructor-led training or structured e-learning). Formal learning is planned learning that derives from activities within a structured learning setting. Formal learning is enrolling on a programme of study, attending lectures, and preparing coursework, engaging in seminar/tutorial discussions.
